Opportunity Details

Volunteer Position: Teaching Assistant (Markham Buttonville Campus)

Duration: September 2026 to June 2027

No. of Hours: 2–4 hrs/week

Shifts: 8:50 am – 11:00 am and/or 11:10 am – 1:20 pm (Saturdays)

Schedule: Immediately

Opportunity Type: Ongoing – Start Anytime

Duties

- Supervise and encourage participation in group activities
- Assist teachers to carry out lessons
- Meal & snack assistance
- Camp setup & cleanup
- Communicate with and assist staff
- Assist in roll call and dismissal

Requirements

- Open to adults and students in Grade 9 or above
- Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
- Able to follow instructions
- Patient, enjoys working with kids
- Solid teamwork and communication skills
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
