The Warehouse Manager will provide leadership and manage a variety of general warehouse activities in an accurate, efficient, and cost-effective manner. We are seeking a distribution professional with experience in leading and managing full scope warehouse activities including but not limited to employee management and development, inventory control, vehicle and driver management, Health and Safety all in an accurate, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This person will manage staff, including warehouse personnel and drivers, as well as interface with other departments and customers.Salary: $80k + 15% bonusResponsibilitiesAnalyzes and proposes methods of sustained productivity increasesMaximize the cube fill rate on the delivery vehicles and minimize delivery costs and increase driver productivityMaintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouseEnsures safe working conditions including properly training employees on proper safety methods, assists Human Resources with the management of workers compensation claimAudits various paperwork and postings for accuracy and compliance with appropriate local, provincial and federal laws, statutes and company policiesResponsible for the proper collection, dispersal and retention of drivers logs, fuel tax reports, accident files and registersEffectively counsel and manage employees on attendance, performance and/or misconductManage the AS400 system for the purpose of measuring the pick accuracy and performance of employees (cycle count, bin walk, etc)Responsible for managing the maintenance and repairs of all warehouse-related equipmentOther duties as assignedRequirementsThree to five years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor's degreepreferred but not requiredKnowledge of local, provincial and federal OHSA safety regulationsKnowledge of location,
