TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST - 18 month contractJob DescriptionTitle: Talent Acquisition SpecialistReports To: Talent Acquisition ManagerBased at: Mucci Pac Ltd., Kingsville, Ontario Revised: October 17, 2024Type of Employment: Full time, 18-month contract (Maternity), extended hours depending on workload and priorities, which may include Saturdays.Responsibilities Include: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruitingCoordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs Determine selection criteriaSource potential candidates through online channels (eg: social platforms and professional networks)Identify best practices for recruiting and sourcing candidates to ensure effectiveness for time to hirePlan interview and selection procedures, including pre-screening candidates, assessments, skills testing, panel interviews, referencesCreate and update job descriptions to reflect position requirementsOrganize employer branding initiatives related to recruitingSource and organize various recruitment events such as career fairs, online campaigns, etc.Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidatesMaintain a database of both active and potential candidatesQualifications:At least 2 years’ experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition SpecialistProficiency with social media, resume databases including LinkedIn Recruiter and IndeedPrevious experience hiring for U.S.
