You will be part of the ever growing team to bring Pride to Toronto, in every beautiful form that Pride takes In addition, Pride Toronto offers: Being a part of a high performing team where Pride is their passion and continuing to benefit the Pride Movement in TorontoThe ability to maintain work-life balance with the flexibility to take mid-day appointments and flex-hours Participate in hard-skill development workshops as well as lunch and learns Access to leadership and growth opportunities as the company grows Access to Pride Toronto's Group Health Benefits Plan and RRSP/TFSA Program Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Development & Community Engagement, the Manager, Grants & Fund Development leads Pride Toronto's institutional fundraising strategy and supports broader revenue generation initiatives to meet annual funding targets.Key ResponsibilitiesGrant Development & Strategy Leadership (50%)Lead the development and execution of Pride Toronto's annual grants strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets (e.G., $500,000+ annually).Diversify funding sources across municipal, provincial, federal, corporate, and foundation funders.Identify, evaluate, and pursue new grant opportunities to build a sustainable, multi-year funding pipeline.Strengthen and steward relationships with existing funders to support renewals and long-term partnerships.Oversee the full grant lifecycle, including prospecting, cultivation, proposal development, submission, reporting, compliance, stewardship,



and renewals.Maintain and manage a comprehensive grants calendar to ensure timely submission of applications, reports, and all required documentation.Ensure all grant requirements, attachments, and compliance obligations are met in alignment with funder agreements and organizational policies.Provide strategic oversight of grant-funded initiatives in collaboration with Finance and program teams.Monitor grant budgets, cost allocations, deferred and matching funds, restricted revenue, and allowable expenses.Lead grant revenue forecasting and pipeline projections to support organizational financial planning.Prepare and review compelling narrative and financial reports, grant summaries, and impact reports demonstrating measurable outcomes and program effectiveness.Continuously refine and expand the grant strategy through performance analysis, identification of growth opportunities, implementation of best practices, and strengthened stewardship and retention strategies.Collaboration and Partnership Management (10%): Cultivate and steward relationships with funders, institutional partners, and community stakeholders.Represent Pride Toronto in meetings with government and foundation grant officers.Coordinate site visits, recognition initiatives, and ongoing funder engagement.Collaborate cross-functionally to gather budgets, metrics, and program narratives.Assist with festival delivery and assigned cross-department initiatives.Fund Development & Donor Engagement (40%)In collaboration with the Director of Development & Community Engagement and the Executive Director set funding priorities.Develop a phased, multi-year strategy and implement an individual giving program through direct mail, online donations, monthly giving, third-party, and individual major gifts.Support execution of annual fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.Assist in developing sponsorship and institutional funding packages.Contribute to individual giving, corporate giving, and festival donation campaigns.Develop donor communications including appeal letters, case for support materials,



and impact messaging in collaboration with Communications.Maintain accurate donor and grant recordsLead donation campaign during festival month.Develop all communication materials as required in collaboration with Communications - appeal letters, donor correspondence, case for support, etc. QualificationsQualifications and skills required of the role:3+ years of grant writing and institutional fundraising experience, with a strong track record securing government and foundation fundingProven success securing philanthropic support, including grants, sponsorships, and partnershipsStrong financial literacy, with experience developing, managing, and reporting on budgets and forecastsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders sensitivelyHighly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneouslyStrong networking skills and the ability to work independently and collaborativelyExperience developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic fundraising plansProficiency in Google Workspace; experience with CRMs (DonorPerfect, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) is an asset.Experience in nonprofit, arts, culture, or community-based organizations preferred Strong administrative, record-keeping, and accountability skillsCommitment to the mission and values of Pride TorontoG-class driver's license considered an assetKey Performance IndicatorsSecure a minimum of $500,000+ in annual grant revenueAchieve a minimum 60–70% grant success rateSubmit 100% of grant applications and reports on timeMaintain a 12–18 month forward-looking grant pipelineEnsure 100% compliance with funder agreements and reporting requirementsIncrease grant revenue year-over-year through new funder acquisition and renewalsMaintain accurate grant revenue forecasting within agreed variance thresholdsDeliver transparent, outcome-based impact reporting for all funded programsAchieve high funder retention rate Our Application and Hiring Process: Please click the "Apply" button on this page to submit your application unless you have any access needs restricting you to apply online.
