You will play a key role in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of corporate donors to support the recent building and ongoing programming offered by the Centre.About the jobReporting to the Director, Partnerships and Development, you will:plan and execute corporate fundraising strategy to support annual revenue and the major fundraising campaignidentify prospects and build pipelinesprepare persuasive and inspiring fundraising materials and communicationssolicit corporate donors and manage portfolio of donors ($25,000+)create a stewardship strategy to nurture long‑term corporate donor relationships and ongoing engagementresearch, write and secure government grants at the federal, provincial, and municipal levelsTo learn more about the role, team and ask any questions you may have, send an email to the hiring manager at [email protected] you bring to the teamFundraising knowledge and experienceYou have:experience working with corporate donors, managing prospects and developing strategies for securing gifts and sponsorships of $25,000 or more, ideally within arts, cultural, or educational institutionsinitiative and creativity to identify gift opportunities and tailor approaches to meet corporate donor interestsexperience engaging new corporate prospects through research, prospect identification, and personal engagement,



with experience creating and executing solicitation plansgrant writing experience and experience in securing federal, provincial and municipal grantsknowledge of major gift, individual, and community fundraising practices, with knowledge of research, cultivation and engagement practicesRelationship management and communication skillsYou have:oral communication skills to interact with board members, senior level volunteers, senior management and staffwritten communication skills and attention to detail to create proposals, cultivation and solicitation documents and stewardship communications that highlight the impact of corporate supportpresentation, negotiation and relationship management skills to engage with corporate donors, prospects and volunteerscollaboration and consultation skills to promote cooperation and provide excellent customer serviceDonor relations and program leadership skillsYou can:set and manage priorities and ensure goals are met, including developing corporate giving programs and related activitiesresearch and develop stewardship plans to cultivate new and existing supporterslead program operations, including donor identification and solicitation, corporate relations programs and develop and implement administrative procedures and systemsplan, execute and evaluate strategies and materials to attract and secure corporate donors and deliver programsdemonstrate analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, with experience overseeing fundraising systems and the ability to evaluate activities and resultsDon't meet every qualification?If you are excited about this position and meet most, but not all, of the listed qualifications, please still consider applying.
