Lead a collaborative property accounting team at a growing real estate platform in downtown Toronto. As a Property Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee financial reporting and mentoring in a hybrid work setting.
You will report to the Controller and oversee financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of office assets, including both owned and third-party-managed properties. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate financial reports, supporting budgets, and managing a team of Property Accountants. This position emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and process improvement within a well-structured accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial reporting and month-end processes
• Manage budgeting and reforecasting efforts




• Support due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions
• Lead a team of Property Accountants and mentor staff
• Enhance internal controls and standardize procedures
Requirements:
• CPA designation with 5-10 years of accounting experience
• Proven leadership in property accounting
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting
• Experience with Yardi is preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
