About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Governance and Reporting within its Internal Audit division. This leadership role is pivotal in the design, execution, and enhancement of the governance, reporting, and quality-assurance framework for the global internal audit function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the internal audit team provides clear, timely, and data-driven insights to audit committees and key stakeholders, in alignment with global internal audit standards. Key responsibilities include owning the internal audit governance calendar, producing engaging dashboards, and maintaining a comprehensive quality assurance and improvement program.



The role also involves governing the creation and approval of audit methodology, operating the escalation framework, and managing the automation agenda for the internal audit function.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in internal audit within financial services or a similarly regulated environment, with a strong background in designing and operating an internal audit quality-assurance framework. They should possess a deep knowledge of IIA standards, and have a proven track record in governance reporting to boards, audit committees, and regulators. Essential skills for this role include attention to detail, professionalism, a team-first mentality, experience with data-analytics and automation tools, and a strong understanding of risk and control assessment techniques. The candidate should be a highly organized self-starter, capable of working independently, and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, business-oriented manner.
