Reporting to the Category Manager and collaborating closely with a cross-functional team, you'll contribute to product development, conduct market research, and help guide product lifecycle planning. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, making it ideal for someone proactive, motivated, and team-oriented. We're looking for someone who's eager to learn, work collaboratively across departments, and help bring innovative, high-quality products to market.Duties & ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of product category plans by assisting with research, documentation, and coordination tasksHelp gather and analyze market data to identify consumer trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areasAssist in refining product positioning strategies to support category goals and improve market performanceSupport new product development (NPD) initiatives by helping evaluate investment priorities and tracking project progressParticipate in basic "make vs. buy" assessments by compiling data and collaborating with sourcing teamsTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) for existing product lines, including sales, margin, and inventory metricsAssist in lifecycle management activities such as product updates, phase-outs, and performance reviewsWork closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering)



to support product launches and category initiativesCoordinate with Sales & Marketing to help execute promotional campaigns and gather feedback from the fieldUse internal reports and external market insights to support product decisions and category reviewsHelp prepare presentations and summaries that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholdersAll other duties as assignedQualifications & Educational Requirements2 – 4 years of experience in product management, category management, or a related business roleDemonstrated ability to approach challenges with creativity and a willingness to learnComfortable contributing ideas and supporting strategic initiativesAble to work with data to identify trends, draw insights, and support decision-makingFamiliarity with basic market analysis and performance trackingStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams such as Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and OperationsCapable of managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and supporting project coordination in a fast-paced environmentBasic understanding of business principles including financial metrics, market dynamics, and competitive positioningExperience or strong interest in retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing environments is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)PreferredA bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, product management or supply chain management considered an assetFamiliarity with data visualization or project management tools.
