Project Manager for a regulatory client, Mississauga office.Marberg Job Number: 2751.Job Type: Temporary.Initial Term: ASAP for approximately 9 months, with possible extension.Existing Vacancy: Yes.Target Compensation: From $80 per hour, with some flexibility according to experience.Regular Work Hours: From 8:30 am to 4:00 pm not including .5-hour unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday (35 work hours per week).Work Location: Hybrid - combination of 2 days remote-based and 3 days onsite, with Monday and Tuesday as anchor days and 1 flex day at the client's Mississauga office. Free parking provided. Onsite work expectations are always subject to client business requirements and may change according to client business need.Position Reports To: Senior Manager.Responsibilities Summary: As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closeout.Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from charter and planning to execution, implementation, and handover.Develop and manage integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and quality.Monitor and control project performance, including KPIs, executive reporting, forecasting, and corrective actions.Ensure adherence to established governance, methodologies, standards, and change control processes.Manage stakeholder engagement at all levels, including senior executives, steering committees, vendors, and external partners.Present project updates, risks, issues, and recommendations to leadership to support informed decision-making.Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while proactively managing issues and recovery plans.Oversee vendor contracts and third-party deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives.Lead cross-functional technical and business teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.Promote quality assurance practices and continuous improvement, including capturing and applying lessons learned.Qualifications: Education: Post Secondary Degree or knowledge encompassing the technical fields, relevant to the areas of computer science, engineering, technical service delivery, and risk management is required.Professional Credentials: PMP certification is required.Preferred Work Experience:



Approximately 8-10+ years of experience with IT Infrastructure is preferred.Preferred Sector Experience:Public sector, energy sector or regulatory experience is an asset.Technical and Language Skills Requirements: Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Word and Access is an asset (will be tested).Solid financial forecasting and budget management capabilitiesExperience implementing Load Balancers and/or PBX systems is an assetStrong verbal presentation skills suitable for a diverse range of audiences, including senior leadership.Task -Based Qualifications and Additional Attributes: 8+ years of professional experience, including 4–8 years in a dedicated project management role.Strong knowledge of PMI methodologies, principles, and best practices.Proven experience delivering small to medium complex enterprise-wide projects in a service delivery environment.Experience across the full Project Management lifecycle.Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); IT infrastructureand networking; IT and business operations.Experience delivering projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.Expertise in Project Charter development, Project planning and scheduling, Vendor contract management, Project monitoring and control, Executive reporting.Experience leading multi-stakeholder tabletop exercises is an asset.Demonstrated record of professional conduct and character. Responsible, reliable and works to deadlines.Proven ability to respond to sensitive and confidential matters with tact, discretion, and excellent judgment in the interpretation and application of instructions and organization policy.Demonstrated team leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, at all levels of seniority.Demonstrated ability to apply project management principles,



methodologies and best practices.Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, and in an advisory capacity, and liaise effectively with a wide and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Additional Requirements: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, providing satisfactory documentation upon request.Ability to work both remotely and onsite, abiding by the organization's health and safety policies.Ability to promptly provide a minimum of 2/3 reasonably recent, qualified employment references upon request who are available to speak with either Marberg or Marberg's client.Ability to declare personal Non-Conflict of Interest in execution of position responsibilities.Provision of certification of AODA and OHSA online training course completion prior to assignment start.Satisfactory Background Checks, Technical Skills Evaluations, and Employment References.Application Notes:We kindly request that you submit your resume right away, as our client is reviewing applications on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
