SummaryReporting to the Shipping Department, this position is responsible for the Safe and Efficient operation of the forklift assigned to the Shipping area.Additional Incentives offered******Rate of pay: $24.25/hrDuties And ResponsibilitiesMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform a pre-shift inspection of the ForkliftComplete pre-shift Daily Inspection form and hand-in at the start of shiftOperate equipment/machinery following all Safety proceduresLoad and unload trucks (Tautliner, van, container, Customer pick up etc.)Report any equipment malfunctions to Shipping Lead Hands/ SupervisorsMonitor Quality of material and product being handled and report any deficiencies to Shipping Lead Hands/ SupervisorsEnsure that material (Piked orders) is stored in appropriate/designated staging areasEnsure accuracy of material supplied to CustomersMaintain housekeeping/cleaning of equipment and around assigned work areaParticipate in Department and Company meetings as applicableParticipate in mid and year-end inventory count if neededComply with all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety,
