Accent Inns (the hotel with a rubber duck inevery room) and Hotel Zed (rebels against the ordinary) are searching for a HappinessExpert (Full Time) to join our Customer Happiness Hub. This is an in-person role located at our Richmond, BC location, no remote option available.

The Customer Happiness Hub is where our HappinessExperts provide relationship-based customer service experiences whilemaximizing revenue, reinforcing our unique brands and establishing meaningfulhuman connections that make a positive difference in someone's day.

What You Do

As a HappinessExpert you deliver on three main pillars:

1) Creatememorable brand touchpoints that drives loyalty

- Thousandsof conversations happen in our Happiness Hub and these conversations areour opportunity to make people love us. Make every conversation count - contacting the Happiness Hub either by phone, email, SMS or socialshould reinforce our brands and make every customer smile

2)



Drivessales by booking more rooms and maximizing yield

- Don'tleave any money on the table. Ask questions to uncover opportunities, usestorytelling to showcase why our properties are the perfect fit for thecustomer and ask for the sale.

3) Bethe communications and service center for customers

- Helpus deliver outstanding customer service on property by capturing customerinformation when you make reservations so it is shared with our properties.
- Setexpectations and showcase hotel amenities pertinent to the customerconversations. Suggest local events or restaurants to enhance their stay.
- Driveloyalty for our important preferred corporate clients, groups and travel tradecustomers with outstanding and seamless service and communications.

What You Need

- Available to work in-person at our Richmond location - no remote option available
- Must be available weekends & evenings (latest shift time ends at 11:30pm)
- Previous sales and/or hotel experience is preferred
- Fun loving nature
- Easy conversationalist
- Extra-sensory perception to how others are feeling
- Tech-savvy systems expertise
- Multi-tasker who doesn't crack under pressure
- Sleuth like problem solving skills
- Valuable grammar and writing skills
- Front desk or reservations office experience an asset, but weare also happy to train
