Base pay range
CA$39.00/hr - CA$40.00/hr
Title: Licensed Millwright (433A)
Location: Vaughan, ON
Pay Rate: $39.92 – $41.59/hr.
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour continental shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and submit requisitions for spare parts as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools as well as maintenance shop equipment.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to supervisors and co-workers.
- Install or replace meters, regulators, and related measuring/control devices.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid 433A Millwright License .
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with secure use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
