Longevity and commitment to career growth are staples, as many of our employees have been with us for 20+ years.PRODUCTION EXPEDITER Current Open Positions: 1Expediter ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Production Planner to create and develop the Daily /weekly production planReview detailed production plans and confirm material and resource availabilityConfirm product availability with sales and customer service to meet demandWorks with purchasing to ensure delivery/availability of raw material as requiredParticipate as a key team member to consistently achieve improvements to on-time delivery performanceMonitor finished goods inventory levels and Kanban levelsProcess urgent work orders and help resolve bottlenecksWorks closely with production and customer service teams to plan, schedule and communicate the status of work orders and customer requirementsTakes ownership of production plans and drives the correct priorities to deliver on timeMinimum Qualifications2-3 years' experience working in a Production department,



preferably in a Manufacturing company.Materials Management Diploma and/or APIC's CPIM certificate is an assetKnowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredKnowledge of the production life cycle in an industrial settingPrevious experience using MRP systems, in particular the production planning and inventory management modulesStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsInventory management skills are an assetAbility to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and time management skillsProficiency in MS OfficeAble to deal with a demanding and changing work environmentHighly detailed and organizedStrong written/verbal communicationPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and listen.
