This senior-level role is responsible for ensuring optimal equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, maintaining infrastructure integrity, and leading a high-performing maintenance team.The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership ability and strategic planning skills to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective production operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee the maintenance and repair of production machinery, electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, and facility infrastructureMaximize equipment uptime and ensure operational reliabilityRespond to and manage emergency breakdowns and critical repairsMaintenance Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programsUtilize CMMS software to track work orders, asset history, and maintenance performance metricsLead root cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring equipment failuresManage CAPEX and OPEX projects to maintain the facilityTeam ManagementHire, train, mentor,
and supervise maintenance tradesmen and support the Maintenance Supervisor/Planner.Manage shift schedules and overtime to ensure production coverage as neededAdminister our union CBA within our unionized environmentBudget & Resource ManagementHelp prepare and manage the maintenance department budgetControl costs while maintaining high operational standardsManage spare parts inventory and identify cost-saving opportunitiesSafety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with occupational health and safety regulationsMaintain adherence to environmental standards and building codesPromote a culture of safety and continuous improvementSalaried member of the Joint Health and Safety CommitteeNegotiate and manage contracts with external service providersCoordinate specialized repairs and facility service projectsManage 3rd party services for the plant that include HVAC, Security, Dock systems, Fire Systems, etc.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is preferredEquivalent technical education and extensive vocational experience may be consideredExperienceProven experience managing maintenance operations in a manufacturing environmentStrong background in industrial machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical systemsExperience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programsSkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesDemonstrated leadership and team management experienceBudget planning and cost-control expertiseProficiency with CMMS systemsExcellent communication and organizational skillsCertifications (Preferred)Facility Management Qualified (FMP)Other relevant technical certificationsSalary Range$110,000 TO $130,000 CADLet’s Create Possibilities Together.Join a global community shaping the future of intelligent connectivity.
