OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Controller to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes. This role is vital in ensuring accurate stock levels, effective demand planning, and seamless warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and experience in supply chain management to support our retail and e-commerce platforms. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and enhance overall inventory accuracy across multiple distribution channels.DutiesMonitor and manage inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, AS400, or similar systems.Conduct data mining and analysis to forecast demand and inform procurement strategies.Utilize tools like Tableau and Power BI for data visualization to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.Coordinate with procurement teams for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating with suppliers, including 3PL providers.Oversee order fulfillment processes ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels across retail, warehouse distribution, and e-commerce channels.Implement demand planning strategies using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to align inventory with sales forecasts.Maintain accurate records of materials management, procurement activities, and warehouse distribution metrics.Support continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste, increasing efficiency,



and enhancing supply chain performance.Assist in managing warehouse operations including forklift procedures and materials handling protocols.Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure inventory aligns with sales strategies and merchandising plans.SkillsStrong analytics and data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or equivalent supply chain management software.Knowledge of demand planning, procurement, sourcing, and materials management within a retail or e-commerce environment.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), 3PL logistics, and warehouse distribution processes.Excellent negotiation skills for supplier engagement and procurement activities.Ability to interpret complex data sets through data mining and analysis techniques to support decision-making.Strong process improvement capabilities with a focus on efficiency enhancements in supply chain operations.Knowledge of order fulfillment procedures and retail merchandising strategies.Experience working with supply chain analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau for reporting insights.Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across procurement, warehouse management, sales, and IT teams. This role is integral to maintaining optimal inventory levels while supporting strategic growth initiatives through advanced data analytics and supply chain expertise.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $19.00-$22.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 – 44 per weekBenefits:Dental carePaid time offWork Location: In person
