This is an exciting opportunity to join a patient-centered organization committed to excellence in healthcare.Your Role:As a member of the Niagara Health Pharmacy Management Team, the Manager provides strong leadership in the day-to-day operations to meet organizational needs and monitor operational effectiveness through key performance indicators and measures. They will lead initiatives as required and manage and monitor human, financial, and capital resources. Additionally, the Manager will ensure compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists Hospital Pharmacy standards, Accreditation Canada Medication Management Standards along with licensing, professional regulatory, safety standards, and laws. They will align these programs with Niagara Health's strategic plan, relevant legislation, and multi-union collective agreements. This role is based in St. Catharines and involves travel across multiple sites.Key Responsibilities:o Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient service deliveryo Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high performance and strong collaborationo Monitor operational effectiveness using KPIs and uphold all regulatory and accreditation standardso Develop and manage quality control and quality assurance programso Effectively manage human, financial, and capital resources, including budgeting and procuremento Use financial reporting and analysis to guide data driven decisions and maintain budget adherenceo Collaborate with physicians, clinical team members,



and other departments to enhance patient care and clinical outcomeso Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support development of service deliveryo Ensure staff training, certification, and compliance with safety standards and emerging technologieso Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partnersQualifications:o Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A), in good standing (required)o Completion of an advanced health-related degree or pharmacy residency preferredo Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education/training and experienceo Minimum of 5 years continuous full-time previous hospital pharmacy experience required (within the last 8-10 years)o Demonstrated proficiency in NAPRA Professional Competencies, CSHP standards and guidelines, and OCP Standards of Practiceo Demonstrated understanding of OCP Hospital Pharmacy Assessment Criteria and Accreditation Canada Medication Management Standards requiredo Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of quality improvement, program design and evaluationo Knowledge and application of project management processeso Demonstrated ability to foster a positive team workplace, encouraging participation, respect, and cooperation to achieve desired outcomeso Demonstrated experience in budget development, fiscal planning, and financial management, with a proven ability to monitor and control expenditures in line with organizational goals and prioritieso Strong understanding of financial reporting, cost analysis, and variance analysis, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to ensure budget adherence and optimize resource allocationo Ability to manage and respond effectively to multiple simultaneous demands from key partnerso Strong analytical skills to interpret data and guide decisions supporting the delivery of safe, effective, efficient, innovative, and high-quality serviceso Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership, judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skillso Proven analytical, problem-solving,
