Reporting to the Service Director, and working cooperatively with all other teams, the Weissach Service Technician will be responsible to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with factory and retailer standards while working to promote and maintain the retailer’s quality standards. in accordance with Company standardsDiagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and recommend / perform appropriate repairExamine vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order and communicate to Service AdvisorNotify the Service Director immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on repair order is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promisedClearly and accurately document all work performedRoad test vehicles as required or refer to the inspection technician as appropriateAttend and successfully complete training as required by the companyProvide apprentices and colleagues with regular and up-to-date information on technical modifications and innovations on vehicle post trainingProvide practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice TechnicianLubricate all moving parts with specified lubricants and conduct regular servicing as instructed and agreed.Inspect fluid levels of power steering, transmission, differential, drain and replace as necessaryReplace air filters and pollen filters as necessaryMaintain and promote an orderly workspace and ensure your work area and service shop are maintained with clean working habits and organization.Understand and follow all regulations governing disposal of hazardous waste Logistical ResponsibilitiesMaintain the order and cleanliness of work areas,
