Job Title: Data Governance Lead
Location: Fredericton , NB (Remote but travel to client location Twice a year)
Duration: 24 Months (With Possible Extension)
Client: Public Sector
Pay Rate: CAD $85-$90 per hour
Must Have :

- University Degree in Healthcare Sciences, Health Administration, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience
- Demonstrated experience leading Canadian healthcare data governance strategy, planning, policy, and implementation in a jurisdiction (province or territory) comparable to New Brunswick in terms of size or complexity.
- Demonstrated experience showing progressive leadership within government focusing on health system planning and provincial initiatives that pertain to data and/or digital health.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Demonstrated experience working in public healthcare sector in government, at a provincial agency, or acute care sector leading data-related initiatives including but not limited to policy, data governance, and large-scale digital health initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience Progressive leadership experience in public sector health care with extensive experience leading (direct people management) large effective teams.
- Demonstrated experience developing digital health strategies, policies, and roadmaps at provincial/territorial scale that drive ethical secondary use of data to inform health system planning, population health management, research, or other secondary use cases.
- Demonstrated strong stakeholder management experience, engaging with public and private sectors, facilitating discussions, and developing consensus amongst diverse stakeholders and teams (i.e. clinical, business, technical and operational).
- Demonstrated experience to confidently engage and collaborate with health system executives,



clinical leaders, and other system stakeholders to drive system-level transformation. Ability to manage complex and politically sensitive matters with tact.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with Privacy departments and Chief Privacy Officers on policy and procedures development, privacy impact assessments (PIAs), consent management, and other critical privacy initiatives that support appropriate and ethical use of personal health information.
- Demonstrated experience having excellent verbal and written communication, ability to generate executive and program-level reports and materials, facilitation, and presentation skills. Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and drive stakeholder satisfaction.
