Department: WarehouseReports to: Warehouse ManagerStatus: Full-timeThe pay range for the role is $62,600 to $104,300 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.Job Scope:Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position plays a key hands-on role in daily warehouse execution, supporting order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safe, efficient operations. This position works alongside warehouse staff to ensure cheese is picked, staged, and shipped accurately while identifying and resolving operational issues in real time.Key Responsibilities: Pick, stage, and allocate cheese accurately to meet daily shipping requirementsVerify product specifications including type, weight, age, lot, and customer requirementsCoordinate order priorities to support on-time shipment and minimize re-handlingIdentify and resolve picking errors, shortages, or discrepanciesSupport smooth workflow across shifts through effective communication and planningMaintain accurate inventory records for finished cheese and related materialsPerform cycle counts and inventory verifications to align system records with physical stockInvestigate inventory variances and identify root causesSupport proper product rotation, traceability, and storage practicesCoordinate inventory status changes, holds, or releases in accordance with site proceduresIdentify recurring inventory issues and recommend process improvementsFollow and promote all site health, safety, and food safety requirementsSupport compliance with internal standards and external audit requirementsAct as a point of escalation for day-to-day warehouse issues during assigned shiftsAnalyze operational challenges related to flow, accuracy, or efficiencyUse data, observations, and reporting tools to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesSupport implementation of process changes to improve safety, accuracy, and productivityProvide clear direction on daily priorities and task sequencingOther duties as assignedQualifications:



Minimum high school educationAt least 3 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including the operation of forklifts, preferably in food manufacturingStrong understanding of inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse workflowsComfortable working hands-on in a cold-storage or production environmentStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions during off-shift hoursComputer skills and experience using warehouse systems and basic data tools (WMS/ERP/Excel)Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracyWorking Setting:Regular exposure to noise and cold temperatures. Continuous exposure to hazardous machines, moving objects (forklifts) and frequent interruptions. Occasional exposure to dust and chemicals.Physical Demands:Standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) for a considerable length of time.
