Cathedral Social Hall is currently looking for a full-time Cook to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Location: 608 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 3H1.

Position Details

- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Wage: $17.00 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend

Work Setting

- Restaurant
- Bar

Job Duties

- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
- Determine food portion sizes and assist with food cost control
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements
- Prepare meals for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions
- Maintain inventory and order kitchen supplies as required
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety
- Supervise kitchen helpers and support staff during food preparation
- Maintain records of food supplies and kitchen inventory
- Clean kitchen equipment, work areas, and food preparation stations




- Ensure food quality and presentation standards are maintained

Requirements

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Food Safety Certificate
- Experience preparing Canadian and International cuisine
- Criminal record check required
