Job Description: We are now hiring a Purchasing Manager on behalf of our client leading in the packaging industry Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, the Purchasing Manager serves as a vital liaison between the organization and our global supplier network. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the team's continued growth by overseeing the end-to-end procurement process and ensuring our supply chain remains agile and competitive.Job Location: London, ON Job Type: Full time, permanent.Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 annually + extended health and dental benefits + paid vacation. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Negotiation: Secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms through expert supplier negotiations.Vendor Management: Audit supplier performance to drive cost savings and continuous process improvements.Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze product performance and KPIs to strategically manage the procurement budget and portfolio.Product Innovation:



Collaborate with Sales and Purchasing teams to conceptualize and vet new product opportunities.Feasibility & Analysis: Conduct rigorous cost and market demand assessments to determine product viability.Catalog Management: Direct the integration of new products into the company catalog with a focus on data accuracy.Requirements/Qualifications:Must have a post-secondary degree/diploma or a Certified Supply Chain Leader designation is highly preferred.Must have at least 7 years of supplier management experience with proven track record of supplier negotiations.Previous experience in the industrial distribution supply market is highly preferred.Must be proficient in English, both verbal and written.Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power BI etc.Ability to work independently and show initiative in a fast-paced environment.Detail oriented self-starter with strong people and time management skills.Apply Today
