Dentara Cabinets Ltd. South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 4C6 is looking for a carpenter/joiner, full time employment for the right person, hardworking, reliable and team player.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in other establishments.
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.
- Operate cabinet production machinery as needed.

Qualifications

- Experience 5 or more years as carpenter/joiner.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Hardworking, reliable and team player.

Wages starting at $37.00 per hour for a 40 hour work week. Wage range for position is $37.00 to $42.00 to be negotiated based on experience. Overtime at normal rates per Employment Standards Act. Extended Medical and Disability perks.
