A graduate degree in Economics is an asset. Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.Essential Qualifications:Experience in leading and managing staff.Proven track record in leading and/or managing research projects.Strong understanding of labour economics.Ability to present labour market information to decision makers and other stakeholders.Ability to understand and interpret statistical information.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Asset Qualifications:Experience in the development and delivery of statistical/information services.Experience in delivering economic research projects.This is a permanent position based in Edmonton or Calgary. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week.Shortlisted candidates will be asked to deliver a presentation on the current state of the labour market as part of the interview process.The final candidate for this position will be required to undergo an academic check,
