We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager, who has a passion for guests services and loves working with people.ScopeReporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective administration and management of all human resources functions at the hotel.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):recruitinginterviewinghiringretention of qualified employeesoverseeing payroll functionsdirection and administration of the employee reward & recognition programmaking sure employees are developed and utilized to their maximum potential by controlling the implementation, administration, and monitoring of all training programs including the ones mandated by the brand.Development, implementation, and administration of policies and programs related to the management of all hotel staffmaking sure the hotel's HR function complies with all provincial and federal laws, implementing new procedures and communicating any new requirements to the teampreparing annual budget forecasts for the Human Resource departmentbeing responsible for health and safety programs and WSIB benefitsmaintaining all hotel personnel records and Human Resource files,



ensuring confidentialityworking in a unionized environment to ensure employees are happy and thereby optimizing productivity and retention.Manage all labor relations activities by administering union contracts and ensuring compliance.
