Insight Global is seeking a Master Scheduler to join a growing electronics manufacturing organisation based in Calgary, AB. This individual will be responsible for owning the master production schedule across the business, aligning manufacturing schedules, material plans, customer demand, capacity, labour, equipment availability, and operational priorities.

This role will play a key part in improving planning maturity, strengthening demand planning, and creating better alignment between customer demand, production capabilities, supply chain readiness, and leadership decision-making. The Master Scheduler will work closely with Production, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Program Management, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to understand customer demand, forecast changes, material availability, production constraints, equipment downtime, and shifting business priorities.

The ideal candidate is someone who has operated in a true master scheduling, supply planning, production planning, or demand planning capacity within a complex manufacturing environment. They do not need to come from electronics manufacturing specifically, but they should have experience supporting environments with multiple product lines, competing priorities, capacity constraints, and cross-functional stakeholders.

This person should be comfortable owning both strategic planning conversations and hands-on execution. They will be expected to lead planning meetings, identify risks before they impact delivery, support production teams when schedules shift, and help build stronger planning structure across two locations.

Must Haves

- 5+ years of experience in master scheduling, demand planning, production planning, supply planning, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment

- Strong understanding of demand forecasting, capacity planning, inventory management, and master production scheduling

- Experience building, maintaining, and managing a master production schedule within an ERP or MRP system

- Ability to balance customer demand, production capacity, material availability, labour, equipment constraints, and delivery timelines

- Experience working cross-functionally with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Finance, or Program Management teams

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret demand trends, forecast changes, schedule risks, capacity constraints, and material impacts

- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where schedules may shift due to production needs, equipment issues, material shortages, or customer changes

- Ability to understand shop floor operations, troubleshoot schedule interruptions, and partner effectively with production teams

- Solid communication skills and the ability to lead planning conversations with different stakeholder groups

- Collaborative, practical, and adaptable communication style

Plusses

- Experience leading or supporting a SIOP or SNOP process

- Experience overseeing planning or scheduling across multiple plants, departments, production lines, or teams

- Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, SMT, full-system integration, aerospace, automotive, industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, or another complex manufacturing environment

- Experience supporting both planning and scheduling functions, not just purchasing or buyer responsibilities

- APICS, ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, or related supply chain certification

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field

- Experience mentoring, leading, or providing direction to planners, schedulers, buyers, or supply chain team members

- Experience working with customer forecasts, backlog, booking trends, and historical consumption data to improve forecast accuracy
