Job Title: Structural DesignerLocation: North Vancouver, BCSalary: $75/HR - $95/HRJob Type: ContractThe Structural Designer is responsible for completing outfitting design assignments on new construction and repair projects. The Structural Designer participates in all phases of new construction design projects including 3D model and drawing development, design preparations, engineering support, design execution, and design close-out activities. This role is also responsible for liaison with internal and external partner design teams to ensure that the overall design is produced in accordance with the engineering input information and the production design standards and procedures. Responsibilities:Create accurate blueprints and schematics for manufacturing, ensuring compliance with design standards and specificationsDesign/Check hull structure, foundations, inclined and vertical ladders, doors, windows, hatches, and handrails Tackle complex design challenges, ensuring that ship systems integrate seamlessly and meet safety and operational standardsParticipate in inspections and testing to verify design accuracy and performance, ensuring all systems meet technical specifications and quality standardsEnsure all required BOMs & Reports are included and accurate.Material Take Offs (MTOs)Identify and analyze quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to enhance design efficiency, reduce errors,
