Position Title: Labourer

Position Overview

ACSI is seeking experienced labourers to join our industrial team to support project requirements. A robust focus on safety and a commitment to a zero‑injury culture are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and clean up work sites.
- Move materials and equipment; perform demolition, excavation, compaction activities, and remove rubble and debris.
- Handle and distribute materials (load, unload supplies, equipment, tools to and from work areas).
- Place, consolidate and protect cast‑in‑place concrete or masonry structures (e.g., shovel cement, mix and pour concrete; use electric and pneumatic vibrators).
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

- WHMIS 2015 certification
- Fall protection/working at heights – In Class
- Experience as a labourer in an industrial construction environment
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting




- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25 kg
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments
- Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Candidates may be required to complete a pre‑employment Drug & Alcohol screen and/or criminal record check.
