Role Description This full-time Apparel Decorating - Heat Press Operator role is an in office position based in Saskatoon, SK.

The Heat Press

Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining heat press equipment to apply designs, logos, and artwork onto apparel and other textile products. Day-to-day tasks include preparing materials, aligning graphics, performing test runs, monitoring production for quality, and making adjustments to equipment settings as needed. The role involves following work orders, handling multiple jobs efficiently, inspecting finished products for accuracy and defects, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.



The operator collaborates with the production and design teams to meet deadlines, ensure consistent quality, and support continuous improvement in apparel decorating processes.

Qualifications

- Ability to operate and maintain apparel decorating machinery, including heat press equipment, with strong Machine Operation skills.
- Experience with Printing processes and Pre-press preparation, such as layout review, material setup, and design alignment.
- Strong Quality Control skills to inspect products, verify accuracy against specifications, and ensure consistency in finished items.
- Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues, printing defects, and process problems promptly.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures accurately.
- Comfort working on feet for extended periods and handling repetitive tasks in a production environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and design team members.
- Previous experience in apparel decorating, screen printing, or a related print/production environment is an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
