Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance malfunctions by interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs on a variety of household appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC systems
- Use mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical issues safely and accurately, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
- Follow assembly instructions and technical diagrams to ensure precise repairs
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Solid mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
- Hands-on experience in appliance repair or related field service work
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic assembly techniques is a plus
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally as needed
