This role owns the technical performance, stability, and evolution of a high-revenue Magento B2B platform. The Technical Lead is hands-on, deeply technical, and accountable for ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and built to support business growth.You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, marketing, and operations—translating business needs into practical, production-ready solutions while actively contributing to development and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesMagento Platform Ownership (Primary Focus)Own the technical health of a revenue-critical Magento (Adobe Commerce) B2B environmentLead architecture decisions, enhancements, and integrationsEnsure uptime, performance, scalability, and reliabilityActively develop and review Magento code—not just oversee itHands-On Development & DeliveryTranslate business and UX requirements into technical solutionsLead features from design through deploymentContribute directly to development alongside internal teams and agenciesOwn QA, release readiness, and post-deployment validationManage backlog, sprint planning, and releases (Agile workplace)Integrations & EcosystemOversee integrations across eCommerce, ERP, CRM, and marketing platformsEnsure clean, secure, and scalable data flowsReduce technical risk and long-term platform debtSecurity, Stability & RiskPartner on audits, compliance,



and incident responseOwn technical issue resolution and root-cause analysisManage and evaluate external developers and agenciesReview code quality, architecture, and delivery standardsReduce vendor dependency through knowledge transfer and documentationStakeholder CollaborationServe as the main technical point of contact for business and marketing leadersClearly communicate risks, trade-offs, and technical constraintsSupport leadership decisions with practical technical insightKey Qualifications7+ years in web or digital platform engineeringDeep, hands-on Magento (Adobe Commerce) experience in a B2B environmentProven experience developing—not just managing—Magento platformsStrong backend skills: PHP, MySQL, APIs (REST/GraphQL), ElasticsearchExperience leading technical delivery for revenue-critical platformsStrong understanding of performance, security, and scalabilityExperience working with external agencies and vendorsNice to HaveShopify Plus / Headless experienceCI/CD and DevOps exposureCloud hosting experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Adobe Commerce or Shopify certificationsThe salary range for this role is $130-180k.
