HealthOPM seeks a Registered Nurse for our Fluoroscopy service in Mississauga and Hamilton Pain Clinics. This part time role is ideal for RNs looking to enhance patient experiences in pain management.
In the role of Fluoroscopy Nurse, you will work on patient safety and comfort during fluoroscopy-guided procedures. Your duties include educating patients pre-procedure, assisting physicians, and overseeing patients during recovery. You'll travel between clinics in Hamilton, Oakville, and St. Catharines as part of a busy team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and history reviews
• Provide education and obtain informed consent from patients
• Support in preparing patients for upcoming procedures




• Monitor vital signs and assist physicians during procedures
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure safety standards
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ontario
• At least 1 year nursing experience in a related field
• Strong ability to assess patients and communicate effectively
• Skilled in managing patient comfort and anxiety
• Familiar with EMR systems and radiation safety practices
