In this role you will be the first and last person our guests will be interacting with, bringing their spa experience to a full circle, along with educating them about our retail offerings. You will be assisting guests with booking a service, guiding them throughout spa day, while encouraging them to take their spa experience home with them by suggesting products that address their needs and maintain their treatment results. To be successful in this role, you should be a beauty/skin care expert, passionate about sales, up to date with all the latest trends and develop excellent rapport with guests to offer exceptional customer service.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Ensure that our valuable spa guests are treated and regarded as our priority at all times
- Perform check-in/check-out and act as the first point of contact for guests
- Prepare retail baskets upon request, from our Spa Care Experts
- Close sales on recommended products
- Engage guests on the retail floor and skillfully ask questions to assess/assist with any potential purchases in the space
- Entice and ensure guests are well informed about service and retail promotions at the spa




- Cross- sell products when appropriate
- Comfortable to perform skin consultations with guests
- Meet sales targets
- Ensure all guest information is correctly recorded in the POS/booking system
- Able to work independently and collectively within a team
- Comfortable working with a POS/booking system
- Provide motivation and support to all other staff members, at all levels, whenever the opportunity presents itself

Availability

- Someone with a flexible schedule: days, evenings, and weekends

Who you are

- Has excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing and cheerful personality
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a cosmetologist or skin care/beauty advisor

- Additional education in cosmetology or relevant field is preferred
- Understand different skin types
- Up to date with skin care/beauty trends
- Ability to perform well under stress
- Experience in sales
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, calculate tax).
- Must have the ability to communicate and understand English – oral, writing and reading.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Light activities handling loads up to 5 kg but less than 12 kg (occasionally moving boxes of bags or product)
- Rarely lifts from floor to waist weighing no more than 12 kg
- Rarely lifts from shoulder to waist weighing no more than 12 kg
