Role Description

We are hiring a Blockchain Consultant to support clients exploring blockchain technology, Web3 products, digital assets, decentralized applications, tokenized business models, and emerging financial technology.

This is a full-time, client-facing role combining blockchain research, business strategy, product analysis, market intelligence, and project advisory.

The successful candidate will evaluate blockchain use cases, research Web3 ecosystems, prepare strategic recommendations, support client projects, and help organizations connect decentralized technologies with practical commercial objectives such as customer acquisition, product development, partnerships, market positioning, and business growth.

This role is intentionally broader than a blockchain engineering position. Candidates may come from consulting, Web3 operations, fintech, product strategy, business analysis, cryptocurrency research, project management, digital transformation, or blockchain technology backgrounds.

The role does not require candidates to invest personal funds, solicit investments, independently control client wallets, sell or promote tokens, guarantee returns, or provide personal investment advice.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on blockchain adoption, Web3 strategy, decentralized applications, digital assets, tokenized business models, and emerging financial technology

Research developments across Ethereum, Solana, stablecoins, DeFi protocols, tokenized assets, Layer 1 networks, Layer 2 networks, wallets, payments, and blockchain infrastructure

Evaluate potential blockchain use cases based on commercial value, customer needs, operational requirements, technical feasibility, adoption potential, and risk

Prepare client reports, market assessments, strategic roadmaps, competitor analyses, executive presentations, and implementation recommendations

Support Web3 market-entry, product-development, partnership, ecosystem-growth,



and digital-transformation initiatives

Analyze blockchain companies, protocols, products, competitors, user trends, partnerships, funding activity, and emerging business models

Review whitepapers, smart contract documentation, protocol materials, tokenomics models, product roadmaps, governance proposals, and industry research

Support clients with blockchain vendor evaluation, technology selection, commercial due diligence, ecosystem mapping, and partnership research

Assist with project planning, requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, documentation, testing, implementation support, and progress reporting

Identify commercial, operational, technical, regulatory, security, governance, and user-experience considerations affecting blockchain initiatives

Help clients connect Web3 initiatives with customer acquisition, brand positioning, audience growth, partnerships, and commercial strategy

Translate complex blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts into clear business recommendations for executives and non-technical stakeholders

Support workshops, strategy sessions, client presentations, proposals, educational materials, and internal training

Collaborate with consulting, business development, marketing, product, technology, research, operations, and client leadership teams

Qualifications

Professional experience or strong practical knowledge in blockchain, Web3, cryptocurrency, fintech, consulting, product strategy, business analysis, digital transformation, or emerging technology

General understanding of blockchain networks, cryptocurrency wallets, smart contracts, decentralized applications, stablecoins, exchanges, DeFi, and digital payments

Ability to evaluate blockchain opportunities from business, financial, operational, product, technical, and risk perspectives

Experience conducting research, analyzing markets, preparing documentation, and communicating strategic recommendations

Experience preparing consulting reports, market analyses, business cases, strategic plans, presentations, product documentation, or implementation roadmaps

Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, organization, research, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Ability to communicate confidently with executives, founders, product teams, marketers,



finance professionals, and technical stakeholders

Comfortable managing multiple client or research projects in a distributed remote environment

Candidates must be legally authorized to work remotely from Canada

Preferred Background

Experience with a blockchain company, Web3 startup, fintech business, consulting firm, cryptocurrency exchange, financial institution, technology company, or digital asset organization

Familiarity with tools such as DefiLlama, Dune, Token Terminal, Nansen, Arkham, Etherscan, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, TradingView, Crunchbase, PitchBook, Notion, Jira, Airtable, Excel, Google Sheets, HubSpot, or Salesforce

Understanding of smart contracts, stablecoins, DeFi, tokenized real-world assets, digital payments, blockchain infrastructure, wallet integrations, and Web3 product economics

Experience in consulting, product operations, business development, project management, market research, partnerships, customer success, finance, compliance, or technology

Experience with market entry, customer research, competitor analysis, partnership strategy, commercial due diligence, or go-to-market planning

Experience connecting technical products with customer acquisition, market positioning, partnerships, or commercial growth is strongly valued

Professional exposure to cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, venture capital, digital assets, or Web3 communities

Background in business, finance, economics, information systems, computer science, marketing, communications, fintech, or a related discipline

Compensation

Salary range: CAD 95,000 - CAD 135,000 per year depending on experience in blockchain, Web3 consulting, fintech, product strategy, business analysis, digital transformation, or emerging technology
