A Day in the Life of the Agricultural/Commercial Specialist

The role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business loans and deposits while delivering personalized financial services to members. Key accountabilities include business development, credit adjudication, portfolio management, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, plus supporting member relations, account reviews, collections, and team development.

Am I a Good Fit?





- Minimum of 5 years credit granting or agricultural/commercial industry experience (or equivalent agricultural sales experience).
- Ability to analyze and interpret client needs and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Proven ability to drive business development.
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection‑handling skills.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and effective communication skills at all levels.
