The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate teams effectively to ensure project success.Key Responsibilities: Ensure project(s) objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are met in accordance with company policy and contract specifications are metResponsible for material take-offs and issuing purchase ordersEnsure preparation of as-built drawings and operational and/or maintenance manualsBuild, maintain, and promote good customer and supplier/vendor relationshipsReview draws and specifications to ensure required products and materials are properly producedEnsure a project plan and construction schedules and milestones are developed and monitor progress against established schedules to include the site foreman and/or site managerReview contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients,



suppliers and subcontractors and price these changes for consultant and owner approvalEnsure progress reports are developed and progress schedules issued to clientsReview and track budgets to avoid cost over-runsEstablish and update schedule timelinesEnsure project health, safety, and environmental standards meet or exceed legislated requirementsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Degree/Diploma in Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology or other Electrical/Mechanical related college programs.Experience and knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Controls)Effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracyFamiliar with contract documents, drawings, specifications, schedules and codes of constructionStrong Communication skills essentialDemonstrate strong leadership skillsEffective oral and written communication skills with advanced diplomacyHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountabilityComputer skills required for MS Excel and Word, Project AutoCAD/RevitMust be a team player able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environmentSelf-motivated to continue to improve skills and further educationExcellence in project management, organizational skills, and effective decision makingMinimum 2 years experience managing medium size construction projectsStarting salary range is $60,000–$80,000 depending on experience.This is a full time position that offers full benefit and pension package.JMR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
