Job Title: Boom Truck Operator

Location: Sarnia, Ontario

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 06:00 – 16:30

Salary: $34-$40 / hr. based on experience

What You’ll Do

■ Safely operate a boom truck (picker truck/truck-mounted crane)

■ Load, unload, and transport steel, equipment, and materials

■ Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

■ Complete daily equipment and maintenance reports

■ Secure loads in compliance with transportation regulations

■ Assist with yard organization, material handling, and inventory control

■ Coordinate deliveries and pickups with project teams and customers

■ Follow all company and client safety procedures

■ Support other operational activities as required





What You Need to Have

■ Valid Ontario DZ Licence (AZ considered an asset)

■ Mobile Crane Operator Certificate is required

■ Clean driving abstract

■ Experience operating a boom truck, picker truck, or truck-mounted crane

■ Knowledge of load securement requirements

■ Ability to work safely in industrial and construction environments

■ Strong communication and organizational skills

■ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
