Canadian Strategy Group (CSG) is looking for a talented and versatile full-time Brand Designer to join our team. This role combines creative thinking with hands-on production and design, supporting visual communications for our firm and our clients across digital, print and web.

Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to translate strategy and messaging into compelling, on-brand creative
- Develop creative concepts and design solutions for client campaigns, corporate communications, reports, presentations, social media and other materials
- Apply established brand identities consistently while identifying opportunities to improve and strengthen creative execution
- Produce design work across a range of formats, including but not limited to print, digital, and web content
- Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the CSG website
- Participate in lient discussions and creative reviews, collaborating with the team to incorporate feedback and refine work
- Help maintain and evolve CSG’s visual identity, templates, and toolkits, including the design of proposals, pitch presentations and other business development assets.
- Prepare production-ready files and work with printers and other external suppliers as required, conducting quality control to ensure accuracy and high-quality standards.
- Manage priorities across multiple concurrent assignments, communicating proactively about timelines, requirements and potential challenges.
- Stay current on design trends, tools, technologies and best practices.
- Contribute to a collaborative creative environment, share ideas, participate in constructive critique, and continuously develop your skills.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong portfolio, demonstrating polished design work across a range of digital and print applications
- Strong foundation in typography, visual hierarchy, layout, colour, composition and brand application
- Ability to translate information and messaging into effective visual communications
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality products
- Comfortable receiving feedback, collaborating with colleagues and clients, and iterating on creative work
- Strong time management and organizational skills,
with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Experience designing for print and preparing files for production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Working proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Approximately 2-4 years of relevant professional design experience
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of WordPress, Elementor, and SquareSpace website platforms
- Experience creating simple animations or GIFs
- Familiarity with HTML5 ads
- Experience working in an agency or other professional services environment.
