Job Summary The Breakfast Host is responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the complimentary breakfast service while providing friendly and attentive guest service. This role ensures the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting, creating a positive dining experience that reflects Hilton brand standards. The Breakfast Host also maintains food safety and sanitation standards throughout service.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and set up the complimentary breakfast buffet according to Hilton brand standards.

· Arrange food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and serving stations before breakfast service begins.

· Monitor and replenish food and beverage items throughout service to ensure availability and freshness.

· Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, counters, serving stations, and beverage stations.

· Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and food service equipment.

· Remove used dishes, trays, and waste promptly throughout breakfast service.

· Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, professional service.

· Respond to guest questions and requests in a timely and friendly manner.

· Monitor food quality, temperatures,



and expiration dates in accordance with food safety regulations.

· Receive, organize, and store food deliveries following proper inventory and rotation procedures (FIFO).

· Assist with inventory counts and notify management when supplies require replenishment.

· Clean and organize kitchen, storage, and preparation areas after breakfast service.

· Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations.

· Assist with light housekeeping or public area cleaning duties as assigned after breakfast service.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset.

· Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain one) may be required based on local regulations.

· Solid customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Reliable with early morning availability, including weekends and holidays.

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

· Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and carrying supplies.

· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (14 kg).

Pay: $17.60 per hour
