Maintain the dining room in a clean and orderly manner and assist the servers in providing the members and their guests with efficient and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Clean and reset tables according to standards established by management
- Bring dirty dishes to the dishwasher area on organized trays
- Ensure trays are unloaded in the dish areas in an organized fashion
- Ensure that server stations are well stocked
- Prepare and serve the bread of the day for each table as required
- Assist servers in bringing out food to their tables as required
- Serve and refill coffee and water as required
- Assist in the setup of dining rooms as required
- Assist servers in closing duties as required
- Ensure an adequate supply of roll ups are available to the next shift
- Ensure trays are sanitized prior to entering the dining room
- Ensure all tableware is polished prior to setting the dining room
- Participate in all training sessions organized by management when required
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications Required
- Good organizational skills
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently
- The ability to communicate well with others
- The ability to work well under pressure
- The ability to lift at least 35 lbs from floor to waist height
- The ability to lift 25 lbs from waist to shoulder height
