Position Summary...The Specialist - Technology Logistics Support role is required for day-to-day support of equipment in the logistics environment.
- This role is also responsible for receiving, tracking, and resolving L1 Service Desk requests and incidents, submitted by customers via walk-up or systematically.
- This role assists with the installation of new systems and services as required
- Monitor Data center alarms and co-ordinate with 3rd Party, SSC and Global Technology for maintenance.
What You'll Do...
- Serves as first point of contact for DC/FC users seeking IT support.
- Aims to resolve a significant portion of incidents and fulfill routine service requests directly.
- Act as communication bridge between the operations and various support teams to facilitate smooth information flow and effective problem resolution.
- Manage release of planned outages and upgrades to ensure successful implementation.
- Assist with supporting Microsoft Windows and its office products.
- First level support of all office printers in preventive and remedial capacity.
- When unable to resolve an issue themselves, escalates incidents and complex service requests to the appropriate global support and specialist teams.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Adaptable to working in different warehouse settings that include moving machinery, dust, noise and occasional exposure to variable temperatures.
- Ability to perform all physical requirements of the role including but limited to; standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, climbing, reaching and safely lift materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Steel toed safety shoes/boots are required.
- Ability to maintain sustained visual and auditory attention to detail,
ensuring effective monitoring of tasks and work environment.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with ongoing pressure from deadlines, production targets, and accuracy standards.
- Experience in managing exposure to challenging situations while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to have flexibility with working hours, including adapting to shift changes and non-standard schedules while maintaining a work-life balance.
- Ability to travel between sites as required; must possess reliable personal transportation as public transportation is not available for all locations.
The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
