Working in partnership with a major provider in the realm of adult online professional education, Lumina Datamatics is seeking Canadian Human Resources SMEs to assist us with course development. SMEs with teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
This SME will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating an online course on becoming a Human Resources Professional that was originally developed for the US market. Learners develop a solid foundation in strategic HR practices, workplace communication, compliance, and employee engagement while exploring the core responsibilities and tools used by human resources professionals in today's organizations.
Our SME will assess the relevance and alignment with Canadian market needs, including current best practice, educational requirements, and adherence to Canadian certification and licensure requirements. A detailed understanding of this topic from a Canadian perspective will be important. Your primary tasks will include analyzing course content, structure, textbook, certifications, and digital engagement strategies, identifying areas where alignment with Canadian standards and recommended adjustments is required, including an assessment of the breadth and scope of revisions needed to the course.
You will collaborate with other stakeholders to prepare a course analysis report that outlines recommendations for remediation,
