Carpenter / Future Crew Lead

We specialize in custom homes, renovations, additions, multi-residential and small commercial projects throughout the Saint John area. As we continue to grow, opportunities will continue to open for the right people.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Framing floors, walls, roofs and structural components on new builds and additions
- Interior carpentry including doors, trim, backing, drywall preparation and finishing work
- Exterior work including siding, decks, exterior finishes and structural repairs
- Reading and working from construction drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Coordinating with crew members, subcontractors and project leadership
- Identifying problems and helping develop practical solutions in the field
- Taking ownership of the quality and productivity of the work you’re involved in
- Helping us continually improve how our projects are built and managed

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with strong carpentry and construction experience, but attitude, ownership and ambition matter just as much to us.

- Have solid experience in framing and general residential construction
- Be able to work independently without needing constant direction
- Take initiative and look for what needs to happen next
- Care about quality and take pride in the finished product
- Be reliable,



punctual and accountable
- Communicate well with coworkers and supervisors
- Be willing to learn and open to constructive feedback
- Speak up when they see a better way of doing something
- Want to take on more responsibility as they prove themselves
- Have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
