Duties

- Support carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
- Participate in installation activities such as cabinet installation,, roofing, and siding
- Aid in restoration projects by preparing surfaces and assisting with finishing work
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper technique to prevent injury
- Follow safety protocols at all times and maintain a clean work environment on-site

Requirements





- Prior construction experience and with carpentry tools and techniques is mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and other equipment safely and effectively
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of construction trades such as plumbing, electrical work, roofing, siding, or masonry is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
