Job Description

The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the daily operations of Eataly’s full-service restaurants. Reporting to the Restaurant AGM, the Manager oversees front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks.

- Assists with hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating staff
- Documents, investigates, escalates, and resolves employee and guest incidents




- Ensures high service standards are maintained and activities are effectively carried out
- Inspects dining and storage areas for health and safety compliance
- Manages food and beverage needs, supervises orders
- Reviews sales, inventory, and costs to monitor budgets
- Coordinates with staff for restaurant activities and special events
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a front-of-house restaurant team
- Understanding of steps of service
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages highly preferred

Job Requirements

- Availability to work onsite with flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
- Food Handler’s License preferred
