Casual Labourer

Reports to: Project Manager, Construction Services

Employment Type: Casual / As Needed

Location: Regina, SK (Various Project Sites)

Compensation: $16:00 -$18:00

Street Culture Project is looking for a Casual Construction Labourer to support our Construction Services team on residential and commercial projects, including decks, fences, repairs, and general construction work. This role is ideal for someone with practical construction experience who enjoys hands-on work, values safety, and is comfortable working independently and as part of a crew.

What You'll Do

Working alongside our Project Manager and construction team, you'll:

- Assist with the construction and installation of decks, fences, and other residential and commercial projects.

- Read basic drawings, layouts, and work orders to complete assigned tasks.

- Measure, cut, and install construction materials with accuracy.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.

- Load, unload,



organize, and transport materials and equipment.

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

- Complete daily equipment and vehicle checks as assigned.

- Support other crew members while ensuring quality workmanship and efficient project completion.

- Follow all health, safety, and PPE requirements.

- Represent SCP professionally when interacting with clients and community members.

What you bring

We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and has practical construction experience.

You bring

- Previous experience in residential or commercial construction (deck or fence construction is considered a strong asset).

- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely.

- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction measurements.

- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently when required.

- Physical ability to lift, carry, climb, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- A positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed.

Additional Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (preferred)

- Reliable transportation to various job sites

- WHMIS Certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Steel-toed boots and appropriate PPE

- Ability to work flexible schedule based on project needs
