Cat Groomer — Commission-Based

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cat Groomer to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience working with and grooming cats and be confident handling cats of different temperaments, breeds, coat types, and grooming needs.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional cat grooming services, including baths, drying, brushing, de-shedding, haircuts, sanitary trims, nail trims, and other grooming services as appropriate.
- Handle cats safely, calmly, and compassionately throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming environment.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding their cat's grooming needs and recommendations.
- Recognize signs of stress or discomfort and prioritize the safety and well-being of each cat.
- Maintain high-quality grooming standards and attention to detail.

Requirements




- 5+ years of experience working with and grooming cats.
- Robust knowledge of cat behaviour and safe handling techniques.
- Comfortable working with cats of various breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent grooming standards.
- Professional, reliable, patient, and compassionate.
- Previous experience in a professional grooming salon is preferred.

Compensation
- Commission-based compensation.
- Commission structure will be discussed during the interview.
