Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our fast-growing, technology-driven manufacturing firm. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components that meet strict specifications. Your mechanical expertise and ability to read complex blueprints will drive efficiency and excellence in a clean, safe production environment.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of machine shop experience required.
- Machining Style: This position is strictly for a Manual Machinist (our facility does not utilize CNC equipment).
- Application Notice: Applications that do not align with this will be rejected.

Duties

- Manufacturing parts for a variety of plastic manufacturing equipment (I.e conveyors-winding machines, corrugating machines, and cutting machines).




- Using milling machines, lathes and surface grinders.
- Welding and millwright work is available for those who want more experience or have the skills.

Experience

- Proven experience as a certified machinist.
- Experience operating manual standard shop equipment.
- Ability to accurately read blueprints.
- Able to measure with accuracy using a variety of measuring tools.
- Working on machines in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
- Committed to qualify, safety and communication.
- Team-oriented, self- directed and willing to learn.
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift.
- Robust understanding of manufacturing processes combined with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
