Now Hiring: Director of Technology & AI Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week in office) Salary Range: $145,000–$175,000 plus pension, comprehensive benefits, generous vacation, and career shaping impact This is not a traditional technology role; Peel CAS is a transformative system leader driving change. We are seeking a Director of Technology & AI to lead AI enablement, digital transformation, and process modernization across the organization. This role is for a senior technology and transformation leader who understands how to move from strategy to execution, from pilots to impact, and from ideas to embedded ways of working. and increase impact - A portfolio of AI enablement and transformation initiatives focused on easing administrative burden and enabling staff to spend more time with children, youth, and families - Execution of human-led, technology-enabled AI use cases, grounded in strong governance, transparency, and risk management - Process optimization and automation initiatives that simplify work, improve quality and consistency, and deliver measurable improvements - Change management approaches that build trust and capability, ensuring staff feel supported and confident as new ways of working are introduced Who this role is for: You are a senior technology and AI transformational leader with experience across complex organizations. You ideally bring a mix of private-sector and public-sector expertise and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and stakeholder complexity. You bring: - Experience leading cross-functional technology and AI-enabled initiatives with measurable outcomes - Strong business acumen and the ability to translate organizational needs into scalable technical solutions in private & public sectors - A disciplined approach to governance, privacy, risk, and compliance - A commitment to responsible AI, equity, and ethical technology use - Curiosity, pragmatism, and a builder’s mindset About Peel CAS Peel Children’s Aid Society operates with an $80M+ budget and serves thousands of children, youth, and families each year.
