Role Description This is a full time civil and commercial litigator role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area with some work-from-home flexibility. The litigator will handle a range of civil and commercial disputes, including case assessment, legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other court documents. The role involves appearing before courts and tribunals, managing negotiation and settlement discussions, and advising clients on litigation strategy and risk management.

The litigator will collaborate with colleagues on complex files, maintain organized case files,



and ensure timely progression of matters in line with client expectations and procedural requ irements.Qualifications

- Strong civil and commercial litigation skills, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and courtroom advocacy.
- Experience with commercial law and real estate law matters, including contract analysis and transactional dispute support.
- Ability to manage files independently, prioritize tasks, and meet court and client deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French; ability to work with local and international clients.
- Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Demonstrated professionalism, ethical judgment, and client-service orientation in all interactions.
- Licensed to practice law in Quebec; admission to the Ontario bar is an asset.
- 1–5 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in civil and commercial matters (other levels of experience may be considered).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with team members both in-office and remotely.
