The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
Preference
- Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
Qualifications
Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Must have a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education.
Experience at the Elementary level would be considered an asset.
Job Summary
Learning Services Teacher - Grades K-6. 1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to December 18, 2026, or return of the incumbent. All work will be on site.
